At Local Radon Testing, we use Continuous Radon Monitors (CRMs) for all radon measurements. Each test runs for 48 hours. Upon arrival, we determine how many monitors are needed and where they should be placed. Every lowest-level foundation suitable for occupancy must be tested. For example, in a split-level home with a basement, a slab-on-grade room, and a room over a crawlspace, three monitors would be required.

Yes, although basements tend to show higher levels of radon, homes over crawlspace or slab-on-grade can still have elevated radon levels.

No it doesn't, nor does it mean if all your neighbors passed a test you will. There are too many factors specific to your home and property. The only way to know is to test.
